a downloadable backdrop for Dialect

It was a typical day at high school. The usual small dramas and shenanigans. The costume room provided an oasis of sorts; at least, a place removed from constant adult supervision.

We had no idea it also contained an inter-dimensional portal. Then, one fateful day, we stumbled into it. Bravely we passed through, and discovered a new world on the other side. In that world, we found something worth returning for; something that changed us.

Now, it’s been at least a week in high school time, and we’ve each crossed the portal more than once. Is someone—or something—trying to stop us? 

High School Portal Adventure is a custom backdrop (combination setting and story)for Dialect, a tabletop game written by Kathryn Hymes and Hakan Seyalıoğlu. In this backdrop, players take on the role of highschoolers who have discovered a portal world.
